PATRICIA ANN (FARLEY) HAYES
Patricia Ann Farley Hayes, 79, of Glasgow, passed peacefully surrounded by her family after a short illness on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital.
Pat was born on July 14, 1935 in Havre, Montana to Michael & Marion (Weeks) Farley and was the fourth of five children. She attended Havre High School. In 1952 she married Edward Kirchdoerfer and they had two children, they later divorced. On June 25, 1960 Pat married Robert Cook, together they had 4 children. After her divorce from Robert, she met and married Jim Hayes.
She dedicated her life to helping others and became the first CNA at Valley View Nursing Home in Glasgow. She also lived and worked in Havre for several years. The most important thing in her life was family and was known by many as Grandma Pat. She loved to cook, read, bowl and do search-a-words. Spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids was what made her happiest in life. She enjoyed traveling all over with her sister Junie and brother-in-law Ted.
Pat is survived by her children Pam (John) Dodson, Carole Kickland (Jay Brownson), Scott Cook, Diana (Jubal) Cole all of Glasgow and Julie (Steve) Jenssen of Pierre, South Dakota; siblings William “˜Bill’ (Ellen) Farley of Hayden, Idaho and Virginia “˜Junie’ (Ted) Lilly of Pasco, Washington. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 special adopted grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Marion, her son William “˜Willie’ Kirchdoerfer, siblings Joyce McNabb and James (Dolly) Farley; and grandchildren Hanna and Ty Cook.
Services will be at the Assembly of God Church on Wednesday, April 15, at 2pm in Glasgow. Reception to follow at the Cottonwood Inn at 4pm. A memorial fund has been set up at Valley Bank.
