Patricia “Patty” War Club, age 70, of Wolf Point, went to be with the Lord at 6:24 a.m. on March 17, 2021 in Billings, Montana. She was surrounded by her loved ones when she left and was greeted by her Lord and Savior.
Patty was born in Poplar, Montana on June 19, 1950 to Ben and Margie Azure. She attended the Flandreau Indian School in South Dakota. After her education, she returned to Wolf Point and had several jobs at Faith Lutheran Home. She also worked in the W.I.C. office for HIS as well as a supervisor at the Fort Peck Tribal Jail and detention center in Poplar, Montana.
She married the love of her life, Robert D. War Club, on March 7, 1981. Together they raised 4 children and grand kids until November 2, 2017, when Robert went to be with the Lord. Patty was a mother figure to many- she had a big heart and a compassion for people! She worked hard all her life and yet still found time to mother her kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Patty cherished her grand kids and great-grand kids and they loved getting to spend time with her as well. She enjoyed time with her extended family members and their families. She’ll be missed for her good sense of humor- everyone will remember her high pitched laughter. She was the best Kool-Aid maker around. She had many friends who will miss her lots. Luckily, we know that we will meet again- so fly high and let the next chapter begin, you are greatly loved.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband Robert. She is survived by children, Humberto “Joey” Agosto, Roberta War Club, Margie War Club and Crystal War Club (Kermit Walking Eagle) all of Wolf Point, Montana. She also raised Melvin Martell of Wolf Point. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand kids and great-grand kids.
