Randy D. Andersen

Memorial Services with Military Honors for Randy D. Andersen, age 62, of Glasgow Montana, will be held at First Lutheran Church on 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, with Max Knodel officiating, a small reception following at the church. His burial will be held with his family at a later date. Condolences may be left on line at bellmortuarymontana.com.

Randy was born February 17, 1963 to Gloria Jellum and Wayne Andersen in Glasgow, Montana. He was a middle child. Having an older sister Jackie, and younger sister Michelle whom he loved very much. He married his loving wife Macie Powell January 13, 1995.

In his adolescence he attended Glasgow schools, and spent his early years of adulthood at Northern Montana College. There he studied his interests in diesel mechanics and Mercury Marine mechanics. After completion Randy returned to Glasgow and enjoyed working on boats with Alvie Hallock for many years. He then found his place working at Markle’s Implement, which later became Border Plains AG dedicating over 25 years to mechanics. He loved and enjoyed his work family there.

Randy spent a large portion of his free time outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Spending many fun times at Ft. Peck Lake over the years. While loving the outdoors he loved spending time with his family most of all. He enjoyed attending large family dinners, and never missed an opportunity to play with his grandkids.

Randy is survived by his father Wayne Andersen; wife Macie Andersen; children: Kathryn Andersen (Ryan), Dwayne Andersen (Alex), Dawn Andersen (Paul); grandchildren: Madisyn, Caden, Kayson, Jeffrey, and Jack; sisters, Jackie Andersen and Michelle LaFond and lastly, his second mom Pat Henley.

Preceding him in death are his maternal and paternal grandparents, and mother Gloria Jellum.
