It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia Ann “Ginger” (Morehouse) Jellum at the age of 67 on March 15, 2025 in Glasgow, Montana. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, touching the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Ginger was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Jellum; her grandson, Brent Simpson; her parents, William and Marguerite Morehouse; and her brother, Jim Morehouse.
She is survived by her daughters: Leslie (Pete) Torgerson, Lindsey Jellum, and Toni (Rashad) Bettis. Ginger was a cherished grandmother to Blaine, Carson, Evan, and Brent. She is also survived by her sister, Genie, and her brother-in-law, Richard Lyman.
Ginger found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the companionship of her beloved cat, Frank, who brought her comfort and happiness in her final days.
A celebration of Ginger’s life was held on Saturday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Cottonwood in Glasgow, Montana, where friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and raise a glass in her honor.
Through all things, Ginger’s faith remained steadfast. We take comfort in her favorite scripture: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
May her memory live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
