Wanda F. Ackerman, 64, of Frazer passed away February 10, 2025 at Billings Clinic, in Billings, Montana.
Wanda was born June 10, 1960 in Poplar, Montana to Wilbert Ackerman Sr. and Isabelle Runs Through. She received her schooling at Frazer Public Schools in Frazer, Montana. She was an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Tribes. Her long time “honey” was Garrett Bigleggins III.
Wanda was a homemaker always taking care of grandchildren. All of her grandchildren had a special place in her heart. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play basketball.
Wanda loved to do arts and crafts, she made excellent fry bread, was a fantastic cook and enjoyed to pick rocks. She was always finding all sorts of good rocks.
Wanda is survived by her children: Apollo Ackerman, Izzy Ackerman, Ashley Bigleggins, Marquita Bigleggins, Gavin BigLeggins and Wilbert Ackerman; numerous beloved grandchildren; sister, Jewel Fourstar; brothers, Wilbert (Gracie) Ackerman Jr. and Floyd Ackerman; and adopted sister Neva Spotted Wolf.
Preceding Wanda in death is her mother Isabelle Ackerman, sisters Florine Ackerman, Cordelia, Ackerman, and Annette Ackerman; brothers Ray Ackerman, Stanley Ackerman, and Douglas Runs Through; her Grandma Kate Ackerman and Grandma Katie Runs Through.
