Bronwin was raised in the farming and ranching community surrounding Harrisburg, Nebraska. She graduated from Banner County High School in Harrisburg and then went on to Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, Wyoming, where she graduated with honors with an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Bronwin was working on a degree in Psychology at the University of Wyoming when she decided to take a break from school and married Ronald “Jamie” Hanshew. The couple moved to the Sandhills of Nebraska, where Jamie’s love for the outdoors led him into ranching and Bronwin into using her restraint management skills. They returned to Western Nebraska and in 2007, Bronwin was offered a job with a local funeral home. She found the work a good fit and very rewarding: helping people during a difficult time in their lives. She received her degree in Mortuary Science form Des Moines Area Community College, Des Moines, Iowa in 2009 and her Nebraska Embalmer/Funeral Director license in February 2010. Bronwin joined the team at Bell Mortuary in March of 2015 and has found the rural setting of Glasgow very much like her original home. Bronwin enjoys cooking, photography, crafting, gardening and spending time with her family in their many shared activities. She and Jamie have two boys, Bryce and Jaydeen. They are active in 4-H, sports, hunting, fishing and taking care of numerous animals. Bronwin is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Montana Funeral Director Association, FMDH Foundation Board, Valley County Health Department Board, LEPC Board and Valley County 4-H Council.
Bronwin can be contacted by calling Bell Funeral Home at 406-228-2112.
Scot was born and raised in Fort Benton, the birthplace of Montana. He graduated in 1985 and spent the next 2 years in Chicago attending Wheaton College. In 1987, Scot joined the US Navy and faithfully served his country for the next 6 years- spending time in Orlando and San Diego. After his Honorable Discharge, he returned to Montana where he and his wife, Shawna raised their two sons- Seth and Samuel. Scot began a career with the BNSF Railway that would last the next 16 years. In 2009, he was asked to assist with a funeral and realized his life calling. Scot attended Arapahoe Community College near Denver and became a fully licensed Funeral Director in 2013. While on a hunting trip in late 2015, he spent some time in a Stevenson Family funeral home and joined their team in early 2016. That summer Scot moved to Glasgow and worked in both the Bell Mortuary and the CSMC Chapel in Wolf Point.
Scot has served on several boards and currently serves as Quartermaster and Adjutant for VFW Post 3107. In his spare time, Scot enjoys camping, golfing, dancing, traveling and recently found a passion for kayaking with his youngest son, Samuel.
